About The Author Fred Rinker lives in London, Ont. Canada. His interest in magnets for
therapeutic use, grew out of his studies in physiology relating to
enhanced human and equine athletic performance. Fred is associated with the Magnetic Therapists Association (now ACONT ) of Australia, where he earned certification as a magnetic therapist. He is presently the Canadian representative for ACONT, the Australian Committee of Natural Therapies. Fred is also a director of the International Magnetic Therapists Association. The various books written on this subject often offer conflicting views
with regard to the application of magnetic polarity. This caused many to
dismiss magnetic therapy as too controversial. While studying the
literature Fred discovered the reason for the conflict; some were using
magnets with incorrect polarity designation and opposite to that being
used by others. This explained the basic differences and unified the base
of knowledge from all of the various sources. Using this consensus of
opinion, Fred wrote The Invisible Force, outlining fundamental magnetic
treatment for many common ailments. His hope is that The Invisible Force will help bridge the gaps of
controversy and help bring magnetic therapy closer to main stream
acceptance. He is pleased that his book is being used as a primary text
book in magnetic therapy courses.
